Will a 68-72 A body clutch pedal and bellhousing work for a T5 conversion?

They are not a direct fit. The bell housing does not have the right ball stud position, the clutch fork does not have the correct angle, the pedals need modified to fit. Best to get repop pedals, a hydraulic throw out bearing could get some use out of the bell housing.

Also a T5 does not bolt straight up to the bell housing like a Muncie, it is rotated something like 30 degrees ccw as viewed from the back, so you have to use a T5 bell housing or the mounting pad and shifter will not be oriented correctly.

I have a T5 bell housing, Howe hydraulic through out bearing, Hayes street and strip clutch assembly and T5 WC transmission. I have 2 spare WC transmissions, one with the .73 5th and the other has a .78 5th gear but I'll have to go though the transmission if you need it. I have the shifter for it but it's a stock sifter and I don't recommend using it cause the stock shifters it is so sloppy you can damage the transmission with it. I'm in Kitchener so I'm not that far from you

Which tail stock does youdr t5s have camaro or s10? Or is it a mustang t5 etc... just curious I'm trying to see if i can do this and keep my bench seat

they are camaro transmissions, the WC was never used in an S10

probably no way to making it work with a bench then i assume? also, does the s10 tailstock move it to the right location? i have no idea, i just know the shifter point is on the side of the tailstock and much further up

why do you think the camaro transmission won't work?.

here is a T5 out of an S10, the shifter would probably be under your dash but you could use that shifter on a camaro transmission to use a bench seat if the stock shifter won't work.

yea i'm just concerned because i'm shorter and have the bench closer.

I thought the Camaro T5 tailstock looked similar to this..

or does it sit in a different spot than that? I am interested in your T5's do you have any other parts for the conversion?
