You can measure where the shifter will be. My GP is parked for the winter so I can't measure it for you but I think the position of the stick will be ok for a bench seat. What other parts do you need for a conversion?

I need everything haha, but as far as the distance i'll measure the car tonight and let you know

Do you have a welder and a plasma cutter?

Welder yes, plasma no, just oxy/acetylene

ok thanks! i'll let you know about the measurements and go from there. About the "E"Brake i was also going to remove the pedal, but i was toying with the idea of trying to use a Fiero handbrake because of the bench

on an automatic I don't mind not having an e brake but with a standard I wouldn't drive it without an e brake

so from the block to where i want the shifter is about 18-19"

...the WC was never used in an S10

Almost true. They could be found in '93s. I've pulled several.
I think an Fbody version would fit better in a Gbody though.

your right about the 93, and it's on the list I have with the model numbers and I just never went down that far on the list... 🙂
