tachometer wire?

I Pretty sure it has a dark brown clip on the end...

I have a tach filter sitting in my room and it does have a single wire brown connector on the end, and the wire is white.

could someone post a picture of the connector? I went out and looked around but didn't have any luck. I think i must be blind or something because i haven't found it. thanks.

What color wires are coming off of the distributor?

the old engine is no longer inside the car, it no longer has a distributor. I'm trying to wire up my TPI engine.

I dont have a picture of the connector, but here is a link to a tach filter on ebay. It shows the connector that goes to the distributor.

OH! so that's the tach wire? mine comes out of the firewall and has the filter mounted on the firewall.
fwiw, mine isn't white.

So, you found the right one? I saw that one on ebay and noticed it wasnt white. I guess sometimes wiring diagrams lie. :lol:
