Are you happy with the results? Now you need to bring it up here and line up with my black car so I know if I have more or less horsepower than that.
It made within 3hp and 1 ftlbs of what I expected, so yeah.

If it don't get rained out, tomorrow night, friday fun night at eddyville. 6:30-9:30. Line up broski. 8)

It's raining pretty aggressively right now, so as of now me racing is still up in the air. As is the rain. god i hate this state.

This stuff perks my interest. Had more enthusiasm before doing dyno work for the last 28 years.

It's not all HP - it's how your combination complements each other. You can get a good idea of your HP if you know your 1/8 or 1/4 mile mph and your weight w/ driver, using a HP - ET calculator

what is the use of the dyno if it is not used to tweak the set up.....we would have 3 or 4 dyno runs with our race cars tweaking whatever we could to get more torque at the rpm we needed it

Unfortunately a lot of people view they dyno as a way to earn bragging rights by having a piece of paper, and they have no interest in using it as it was designed. I like to call it the dream crusher because everyone thinks their 9:1 350 with fuelie heads makes 500 hp

I'd be interested in a reputable dyno outfit that would offer x amount of time making adjustments and pulls acording to the results.I'm not one to take said numbers and pound my chest, around these parts I'm way out gunned so who cares # wise.if it would result in a stumble going away or better response then sign me up.seems like the few places around here are more efi/tuner based.that and i don't want so clown that doesn't know what a fender cover is near my car.

look for a facility that is known for dynoing circle track cars. Circle track cars are all carburated however 99% of the circle track cars use a racing version of a Holley. If the guy who did MrSony's car thought by looking at at the airvalve to think when they open the secondaries opened up he clearly does not understand how a quarajet works

Welp, once again Iowa ruins another race day. And it's supposed to rain the entirety of next week too. Did I mention I hate living here?
