On my 80 Bu: 275/60/15 ET Streets on a 15X8 Corvette Rally, NO frame notch or Lip trim. Stock Monte SS coils and KYB Gas adjust shocks {the white ones}. More pics in my sig link.

all AWESOME cars guys!

if I really had to pick favorites, I'd say HP's 80BU with the 275/60 drag radials. He's hit the sweet spot with the black rally wheels with dog-dish caps.
And I love how maliburacinfreak has made the 255s look so wide on his mean wagon!

But, now I'm torn, and here's why... I am running 27-10x15 Hoosiers on 15x8s for racing, which realistically measures close to 13" wide with the sidewall buldge. This is very close to 295/50s (I assume), if not wider. I had to buy rims with 3.75" backspacing (which only came in white for 15x8s... atleast in my budget). And even with such low backspacing, I still need 1/2 spacers to stop rub on the frame rails. Here's the setup, and how it looks...

With so little space in there, I'm worried I can't run 275s, and may have to settle with 255s. I've been researching and measuring tires, and 275/60s are said to be 11.5" wide (with the buldge) on a 8" wide rim.

Anyways... LETs KEEP THE PICTURES COMING! It's great to see so many nice cars!

Beermonkey, Thanks for the compliment! The fronts are Firestone Radials, 195/65/15 mounted on Wheel Vintiques 15X6 rallies. Stock V-6 Springs and Competition Engineering 3 way shocks. Here is a better shot of the fronts, NOTE: Upon take off they look really small

I had 275-60-15's on my 86 Monte, they were 28" tall and just under 12" wide. These were the most recent pics of the car from the new owner. The tires were such a perfect size.
