Protorque looks good. I would say their $800 converter would be needed with Cad 500. I blew up a 400 hp Oregon Performance 2400 stall converter behind a 8 to 1 403, even a 500 hp rated converter, still $580 might be questionable. Torque is awesome except for the rest of the drivetrain.
That was my TURNA response for something that probably works well but have never used so therefore they SUCK!!!why?

Oh, I also wonder how often we car enthusiasts put a new converter on an already dooshed up POS transmission and then blame the converter for the failure of both it and the trans? 85%? 90%? Higher?...……………………...my guess would be higher.
