The driveshaft is a direct interchange from a TH350, Powerglide, TH 200, and TH200 4R, so nothing needs to be done to it if you go with a TH2004R. A 700 will need a shorter shaft, and maybe a slip yoke as well (I am unsure about the Yoke). The right carb would be a Quadrajet from a 1976-1988 application when new since it has the proper bell crank arm to work with a TV cable with the right geometry. Any other carb requires modifications to work, which will run you under $50 with all new parts. The column shifter from a 3 speed car works fine on a TH 200 4R with no modifications needed to engage all gears. The shift indicator will be wrong unless you source one from a car with the TH 200 4R from the factory, but it is not absolutely needed as it is purely cosmetic. Tire height is irrelevant to the TV cable. It only affects speedometer calibration, which should be corrected if using a stock ECU since it uses the VSS signal to gauge lockup speed.
