I'm in the middle of the th400 swap from a 200-4r. (I'm tired of wasting time,Money and energy pulling and installing transmissions). Has anyone done this here and are there any pointers?

if you had a 2004r in the car the 400 should go right in

you will need to hook up an electric kickdown switch and a different driveshaft yoke

i have to ask, what are you doing to the 200? are you running that much power?

i have never saw a 700 or a 200 TV cable transmission last !!!

a group of us in new york have had different transmission shops install them and still no luck after a year or 2 ..................i guess new york needs your transmission builders here .

Well it took me a while to find someone that could build them.

But when I finally got a properly built 700 it was awesome!

Well I am in NY too Freddie Brown did a great job on mine and that was over 10 years ago and it is still holding up.

And no the engine was not stock , it was far from it.
