Re: 81 malibu "PROJECT 3 SPEED"

I gotta say thanks for the line on the Primewells too  I need at least a pair of tires on my truck, and the local Firestone shop is having a buy 3, get 1 free deal 'til the 31st. They just so happen to have 275/60/15s for 47.xx each, so I'd be spending a whopping $150-$160 vs. $500 for a set 8)

Re: 81 malibu "PROJECT 3 SPEED"

Kuruption,
How do you like the Primewell tires so far? I was reading up alittle on them. They're made in China, I believe, and rated up to 40,000 miles...not that they'll last that long. They're an S rated tire.
I was considering a set for my wagon in the meantime due to my budget. I guess they'll still be better than my worn out radial TA's. They do seem really cheap compared to everything else out there. But safety is always a consideration.

i have no complaints with them.. ive driven them on the freeway doin about 65+ mph and its a smooth ride and for the price what can i say... i paid 207 and some change mounted and balanced thats pretty much 2 tires in the other brands with the raised white lettering..

Thanks for your feedback, Bro. I appreciate it. They certainly aren't a bad looking tire. What size is on your car now? I'm assuming the rims are Monte SS steelies.
