Cool thread, there are some clean engines here so far. 455rocket, nice to see your engine, looks great. Here's a before and after. I'm still planning to put on a factory style air cleaner and do some sort of CAI setup. Disregard the trans fluid bottle, I was still topping it off. :lol:

Here's my 565 big block as it currently looks. I think it's done for now, at least until I change something again. The only chrome on mine is the water neck, everything else is aluminum that I polished.

Here was what I started with. Except I changed the air cleaner top with a chrome one, and added the fender to core braces.

Here is where it's at now, after getting it back from a hack job mechanic attempting an engine swap. I have already replaced the valve covers in this pic (the aluminum 'Vette ones were cracked). Still lot's I want to do with it.
