The hearse is around a 78, the era they got downsized and down motored. My dad's last car was a 78 Sedan de Ville d'elegance more door sedan in eerie blue. it was supposed to be traded in the year he died, and Mom decided to hang onto it. It lasted another 28 years until she passed in 2010 and it's last task was to escort her to the cemetary. Now it resides under a car cover in Bay Three in my garage. The last time it was run was to back it into the garage and then it was shut off and the battery removed. When I tried to get it safetied after the funeral, the mechanic turned out to be fresh out of trade school and absolutely terrified about losing his freshly issued licence. When he tried to test the floor he stuck the pick in and it sank; into about a half inch of undercoating which he claimed mean the floor was rotted out and wouldn't budge. Brought the car home. J-D-A.

The bus, I think, is a VW Vandura or something along that line if it is the vehicle parked up in front of the building. Think it was the last generation of the VW microbus model. Not sure on the year but possibly as far back as the 80's.

That's a mid to late '70's Gen 2 (T2b) Transporter (Kombi). It has the high parking lights & federal impact bumpers. The last generation Type 2 was the T3 introduced in '79 that ran until '02. T2's (as T2b & T2c) ended in '13 in Brazil. The Jr. Mechanic is all over them.

The owner is out of the Tucson area, has welding shop and does various welded art works and stated he was going for the Mad Max Rat Rod look.

Gota love Mr. Rat on the dash...

A work friend drove his '76 FJ to work today. I think its a 350 sbc tbi engine, some interior freshening and drivetrain maintenance, but the exterior is mostly original. He road tripped from Illinois to Colorado to get it a few years ago.
