One at a time.

The rust on that thing scares me to death but it is pretty complete. The comments are humorous.

I know you're right. The Buick is really my only car project right now and I need it to stay that way if I ever want it to get done. Don't wanna be that guy with 15 cars in the yard that "I'm gonna fix someday" and that's a slippery slope.

joe, that 442 is in your neck of the woods, and seems you're not afraid of rust repair!

565 and mrsony, I've had experience with a few of those H-body cars, love'em! years ago when I was stationed in germany, one of the guys in the next shop over from ours, brought his built 400 equipped monza spyder with him... said he'd kept up with some of the porsches and mercedes out on the autobahn without any problems.... did tend to go through lower baslljoints at an alarming rate though....

me? I tended to gravitate towards this one. oddball? definitely! but think about Driven's little datsun wagon with the quad 4..... this one I'm thinking more along the lines of an sc squeakotec from a cobalt ss...

Still like the old Monza 2+2s. Bought one new in 76. Red/Orange, tan interior, V-8, auto. Put a rear spoiler on and BR 60/13s TAs on 7 inch wide wheels.
Worked with a guy in 89-90 from the Kitanning area that had that same H/O.It was in about the same condition back then. You'd have to have deep pockets and good skills to restore that one. And after all that what's it going to be worth? If you put the same money into a 66÷70 442 you'd get a damn good return.

I have always loved Sunbirds. I built an 80 with a TBI 2.5 and a T5 from an S15. Set it up with 5 lugs on Cragar Street Stars. Got 30 mpg and was one of my favorite cars ever. Powertoured it one year. And daily drove it for a lot more.Wrecked now. Looking for another.

I live on that very slope. Move in there's plenty of room, except in the garage. 😂
