So, this kid that graduated two years ago is trying to say that his stock 2006 honda with a big fart tube would beat my 79 cutlass salon. 350 bored .040" over. Flat top pistons with vortec heads. 9.77:1CR. Roller rockers and a weiand intake. Edelbrock 600. Brand new rebuilt 700r4 with a really tight shift kit and 3.42 posi in the rear. I dont see how this kid thinks he would win. Plus I'm the better and more experienced driver.

I remember hearing a story once about a guy with an old Road Runner, who was challenged to race by a guy with an import car. The guy with the Road Runner declined to race. When asked why, he says that he can't win. If he beats the import car, does he brag that he beat an import car? And if he loses, does he admit that he lost to an import car? For him, it was kind of a no win situation, and that's why he declined to race. Just my $0.02.
I try not to get involved in races and such but I don't usually let people talk smack and get away with it. Why just last month some kid was saying his lifted Club Car golf cart would pull my '68 Sears with mud tires. I made a deal that I would use my weakest tractor ('03 Cub Cadet, Open Rear, Hydro trans, turf tires) and I would still drag him. I pulled his cart with ease and I made sure to record it and put it on several social medias 
So challenge him to a heads up face off at your local strip, you built your car for 1/4 mile action didn't you?.
As long as cornering ability isn't a factor my money is on your car, (well it would be wouldn't it? 🙂 )
