Anything can be made fast just takes money. I'm not big into imports but some of them are fast. Its not about power its about power to weight and those little hondas are fast. He could have half the power but he also probably has half the weight. I personally think fwd is the wrong platform for any type of racing but it can be done. I also find that the any fwd car thats about 300whp is scary because it blows the tires off constantly and you lose steering when it does. I say race him, if you win you win if you lose you lose there is always someone faster.

I agree that anything can be made fast. I can make it do anything, so long as your check clears the bank. And the Hondas are quick out of the box. My son and I just recently bought a 2001 Prelude with the DOHC 2.2L VTEC. It is very impressive what can be, and has been done to 4 cyl engines. I am not saying that the kid is any less of a moron, but don't just ASSUME that since you have a ton of go fast parts in your engine that you will beat it. Proper tuning and power-to-weight make the just as quick....or quicker.

No offense man but thats pathetic. I know the newer Civics are pretty damn fast for what they are but if a stock Honda beats your 550 horse big block I gotta imagine theres something wrong in your combo or his really isnt stock.
