or 4.3 diesels... Actually most GM Diesels....

and Ford Diesels (except maybe the 7.3L)

I think Cummins' smell better...

A Diesel is a Diesel, as far as smell. But non Turbo High Compression Diesels such as the 6.2L and 5.7L GM & 6.9L Ford smoke more than anything.

and I thought you were talking about imports with the "Fartcan" mufflers.... Either way, I have always liked the 700R4 myself, But I'm partial to them because of my experiences with 82-92 F-bodies. My 86 IROC is a manual shift 700R4 and It's not much fun to drive on the street after a while.
