Guy pulled up in my driveway while I was changing headlights.. He stopped because he has a 86 GP like mine, but with a Cammed 6.0 from an Escalade attached to a built TH350 and a 9" Ford with 4.11's.
Went to his garage with him and saw it.. He fired it up, and it was a "Oh, thats not fast at all" reaction from me.. He smiled and said "Yep, goes from gas station to gas station rather quickly".
When I asked if the swap was hard, he said "it wasn't really that bad.. I had more issues with the 9" Ford Rear End than the 6.0
It has me seriously considering a 6.0 if my 305 ever goes t*ts up.
