Threadlocker, threadsealer, or lube?

One felpro 1 piece gaskets if its a chrome pan and timing cover on the timing cover end and rear seal end I usually use a brown gasket schelac (loctite makes some) on both sides of the gasket. Just those areas and NOT the pan side rails. For some reason chrome pans tend to leak.
I highly recomend lock washers on everything. Except head bolts, rods, mains, flywheel bolts.
On the topic of sealer. Make sure you put some on the keyway of the balancer. Oil can get past that keyway.
