in the first thread you started about your ticket I pasted the laws in your area where it stated it was a $500 fine for the first offence but you never even commented on it...are you just here to seek pity and not interested in anything someone has to say to help...including constructive criticism?

Its common sense I came on here to get some help but people are bitching about how I am at fault, how I should not have let him drive. Let me get some facts straight none of you know the situation im in, the people I am around, the way life is here. I am not saying things are terrible but they are not amazing as im sure most peoples lives are not either. hmmmm....what section did you get charged under?.....and how is it that you call someone an ******* for pointing out that it was a $500 ticket instead of a $1,000....when your in court though you wanna make sure the judge is aware of your attitude .... :lol:

I wouldn't sue your brother, instead get a kit so that when you start your car, your headlights go on automatically.

Be a man and own up to your mistakes. It is YOUR fault knowing that your brother was unlicensed and YOU let him drive the car. You already blew it by admitting you knew he was unlicensed. If you where smart you would have denied it from the beginning. It is also your brothers fault for driving without a license, It is NOT his fault that he got caught and got you into trouble. The vehicle is registered to you and you are 100% responsible for who enters or uses that vehicle.

If a licensed person uses your car and they crash, be it their fault, an act of god or vehicle malfunction, it can come back on you.

Now, if you plan on going to law school, prove my theory wrong. Tell me how you will win. I honestly don't think you have what it takes, with what your saying it will piss the judge off even more and you have a lesser chance of getting a reduced fine or having it thrown out completely.

lol, in the little bit I read this post I think you should sue the cop that pulled you over, the judge that you go in front of, the people that made your car, the people who didn't make automatic headlights for your car, your brother, your friends that tell you to sue your brother, your family for having your brother, yourself for not noticing the headlights weren't on, and yourself again for letting him drive in the first place. By then you should have enough money to pay the damn ticket. Or just get a job. Obviously it's just as much your fault for letting him drive as it is his for driving. If everyone on here would go on and on about every ticket we get we wouldn't have a car forum, we'd have a ticket forum. I say get over it. It already happened, you can't change it now so do what you have to do to take care of it as best you can. Good luck. Oh yeah and next time maybe consider a cab, or bus or friend or family member (w/a license) to give you a ride
