Well I did it, I started over and got it to turn on quick on the first try and idle fine. The problems aint over yet, I noticed I don't here the clicking of the mc solenoid when you turn the key, and my check engine light came on right away. I tried to pull codes but it won't even let me do that. Time to do some research and figure these out. Thanks again for the timing help guys.

Hey, don't feel bad. I act like I know what I'm doing, and my car rewards me accordingly. I've stabbed the distributor in 5 or 7 times perfectly, so I was due for the 3-4 resets I had to do today just to make it run. It happens.

Yea sometimes I do things multiple times with no issues and then there's times I can't believe I missed the simplest thing. At the end of the day I still enjoy working on my car even if I don't know what I'm doing 😆
