i had a mildly built chevy 350 and a 200r4 with 3.73 gears in my last 442 and i got it up to a bit over 120 and that seemed like all it would do, not to mention it was extremely loose and if i were to turned the wheel the slightest bit i thought i would go rolling and spinning off the road to a horrible flaming death 😀

i had a nice 350 in my Abody monte 3.08 gear 275/50/15 that got me to 175 at about 4500rpm

Forget the haters bro. I do transmission and diff's for a living it can be done. I witnessed a 71 chevelle with a stock 307 700R4 transmission and 3.08 gears do 157mph. Str8 dyno though. It can be done.

Haters, whatever. You are also talking with an overdrive which turns those 3.08's into 2.16's. Can't anyone do math or at least use the calculators that were posted.
And on a chassis dyno is completely different. My Malibu turned 170 on the chassis dyno but it surely won't do it on the street trying to push all that air.

yup forget the haters and don`t bother doing the calculations......BTW I have a nice 355 with slightly shorter tires (245-50-16) and 3:08 gears in the rear. I`m running a T-5 so there is no slippage and 4th gear is 1-1 as the 3rd gear would be in an A body....I`d gladly do 4500 in 4th and let you know what the speed my gps comes up with but I just have to use the online calculations to tell me I`d be doing 107 mph..

more like 111mph

your almost right ....by that one I'll be doing 111.470794324869 and that is closer to 175...

here's more useless Chevy information to fill your head with.
I just learned my camper special 30.5 diameter tires and a 4.10 rear end max's out at 5000RPM doing just a hair over 100mph.
I've never had the urge to see 'how fast' it goes in reality but with this calculator I can see that at highway speeds I'm almost there.
