The ECM i ordered off ebay is from a junkyard and supposedly has the same chip as mine, chip "FFU".. Ill update ya on how it goes. It should be here any day now. 8)

Okay, got the ECM in the mail today. Hooked it up and got the SAME VOLTAGE READINGS AS THE OTHER... DANGIT!!!
Soooooo after i unplugged the ecm i did a continuity test across the plug with it unplugged and between the C and A i got no buzzzzz but the meter did show a reading of .79.. SOOOOO whats that mean? :blam:

so this is what i did.... lol.. I bought a new tps for chits and giggles just to plug in and see if it registered a change on my scanner.. and low and behold.. IT DID!!! therefore the shop manual is wrong.. if the volts are over 2.5 on the plug it doesn't mean the ECM is bad.. I wish i would have tried this a while ago. I was just following the manuals advice tho. O well, now i know the problem is the TPS. SCREW YOU SHOP MANUAL!! liar.
so now imma buy a new carb, im not brave enough to take the top off of this one to change the TPS, and my settings are probably so outta whack from it being adjusted to run with a bad TPS id never get it back to normal.. Thanks everyone for the help. Ill let ya know when i afford a carb. Any suggestions of where to get one? I'm leaning towards guaranteed carburetors.. wacha think guys? :puke:

Got my carb from Guaranteed Carburetors and it runs like a dream!! A few very minor adjustments made, but not even really necessary. All codes cleared and so far so good. Thanks for the help guys!!
