I really like the looks of the WS6 cars. No way would I have the patience to put in the work you have done on this car. Gbodies are almost cheating mechanically. Everything just fits and there is tons of room. F body cars are the exact opposite. Everything fights you and makes you bend in ways that would make Gumby scream out in terror. It'll be really sweet when you're done!

Ha the WWGD is gonna be stuck in my head for a while now. You're right the Fbody is pretty tight in most areas, they sure wanted to use every square inch of room they could. I got the rack and pinion in last night and started on the brake pads. My hope is that i can get it sitting back down on its wheels so i can finish the roof at a lower level, cant tell you how many times ive almost slipped off my little shop stool trying to reach the middle now. Will probably end up standing in the T top openings after i get the 10lbs of dust out of the interior. What amazes me is that i do one area of body work and it looks like a case of baby powder exploded all over the interior of my car from the T Top opening yet Donovan does most of Oldscool and in most pictures his still looks clean even with the window down :wtf: i claim magical powers or the dust is just scared to upset him im not sure.

Your not the only one. There is dust freaking everywhere in my garage after stripping my Cutlass. Thank goodness my windows were up.

No magical powers here, it’s a constant battle against the dust.

The stuff is worse than drywall dust, it’s so fine it gets EVERYWHERE and sticks to everything. The only reason Olds Cool looks half-assed clean in any of the pics is because I try and keep it covered with plastic sheeting 95% of the time.

Last year before I could start driving the car, I had to completely gut the interior and give it a major blow out, vacuum and cleaning.

I might have to do the same, i admit i under estimated the ability for that stuff to get everywhere... hmmm... orrrrr T tops off and triple digits might do it...

So last night I got the front brakes put together, all the lines are finished. Power steering rack is hooked to the pump and have the tie rod ends installed. For the first time in a year the car can steer. Also got the front sway bar installed and the end links. Front end is now pretty complete

Well the brake bleeding is finished and it actually went pretty smooth. Finished up everything with the rear axle and finally it's sitting on at least it's rear wheels again. Tonight i plan to bleed the clutch and finish the little things and drop the front on the ground as well
