I have a 700r4 trans in my 80 Monte Carlo and have been noticing transmission leaks and every time I get under the car and check the transmission bolts they are loose I'm using a TCI chrome pan and black rubber gasket anyway to keep the bolts from loosening up?Thanks

What bolts/washers are you using & how old/used are they? Get some new bolts & lock washers & put some thread locker on them. I'd even check to make sure the pan wasn't over torqued & got distorted.

Deep B&M chrome pan on my 700, no problem with leaks. No need for special bolts/studs etc, try a different type of gasket and make sure the gasket surface is straight. I did along time ago had some type of fiber oil pan and trans pan gasket that looked and felt like tough stuff but after awhile oil leaked through the gasket. It was like a sponge, snugged the bolts up and fluid would squish out. That was frustrating.
