on a th350, is the hole where the kickdown cable bolted on a high pressure seal/hole?

I can't get a fine/coarse/or metric bolt of any size in there to save my life and I'm not about to go drilling and tapping after the engine's already mounted in.

If it's not a high pressure area, I'm just gunna force in a wood screw :shock: and deal with the tap/thread later if I ever pull it out

(or sooner if ATF starts pouring everywhere)

lol, I had the same problem, but mine was out of the car, I just jammed the bolt I had in there and it worked,

as for the modulator, it will probably pour some fluid out, so just unbolt it, take the otherone in one hand, pull out the old with the other hand and shove the new one in and you will hardly loose any fluid. I just did mine a couple weeks ago.
 
don't forget about the o-ring! make sure that the old one comes out first of all then put the new o-ring on the modulator before you put it back in otherwise it will leak constantly.

thanks have yet to do it..........slackin...... 8) the old ones holding up so far, but i do needa get under there this wknd so i can tear up the streets

been needing to buy more material, primer, sandpaper, stuffs expensive! works picking back up too, deadlines and lots to do, plus working in the heat all day kinda wears you out, like you just wanna go home after you clock out, forget pullin the car around and workin on it lol
