I am taking the computer out of my car, Im getting a non computer carb and non computer HEI distributor... now i was told i need a lock out kit for my transmission since a computer wont be controlling it. I have the TH-350 trans in my car and cant seem to find any kits on JEGS.com or SUMMITRACING.com ... Does anyone know where i can find one for my transmission and can i survive without it? whats the difficulty level of the job?

What you are wanting is a kit to lock up the torque converter. I think some trannys can survive without it and some will burn up quite rapidly. The TH350C I don't know about. Here's the kit to do that at Summit.
