Recalls and warranty are two different things. Like comparing apples and bananas.

a recall is an extension of a warranty, it has nothing to do with fruit

So I brought the car to the dealer turns o it was the valve body. So instead of just fixing it we are going to swap a manual into it since I am out of a car to drive a picked up a mk4 jetta gli for 400$ I went to the dark side for a bit.

how did they figure out it was the valve body...
