Trim nipple removal?

The clips are yours if I dont use them.

I can't believe Chevy made the same car 3 different ways and nothing is interchangeable without changing everything!

That would be sweet if the trim goes I would definitely need a 87/88 rear bumper
 
I prefer a cutoff wheel, then grinding the last bit off. I have seen the studs tear a hole when they were twisted off. Not every time, but it can and does happen sometimes.
 
Yea I know a guy too that has an 87 but says its an 81 even though there are no 81 paint codes that match and the nose wasn't available in 81
My 83' was just a CL when I got it, I replaced the nose with an aftermarket set up and changed the rear bumper and tail lights to the 87'-88' SS style which look way better IMO, I did keep my 83' side mirrors which throws people off on what year my car is.
