I'd recommend you use the 1st one you linked that will enclose your fuse panel. You really should get that panel covered and protected. Fabricate a seat brace of some nature like Abbey pictured.

I understand not wanting to be NHRA legal COMPLETELY lol. Some, not all, is BS that is nitpicking over nothing of concern.

Regarding sound reduction, I see you have none of the factory insulation/crap whatever that sheet of stuff is behind the seat. FWIW, the factory stuff worked great and I'm sure you have noise that usually isn't there. Are you familiar with the factory jute padding thingy? It goes about 20-25lbs. My son left his out of his Cutlass and we had to take out the back seat and put it back in because it was so noisy in the car without it.

Edit : almost forgot to mention, I do see an issue back there, someone stole your Miller Lite and swapped it with some Busch Light smh 😉

The Busch Light was a phase... I... I. was experimenting, its miller lite, Jameson, and Patron for me.

I need to order the factory jute the P.O tossed it. I do have kilmat under the seat bottom. I just feel that a lot of sound if coming from the back. Granted the turbo is gonna muffle it a whole lot later down the road. just have a ton of road noise.
As for the fuse panel it honestly didn't come out as planned when I made it. I going to do the Current Performance PnP relay box and eliminate that panel all together

The only thing NRHA thing I don't wanna do for now is a cage. Only because I take the kids to school and for rips pretty often. Till I can have nice tight fitting custom cage done it'll stay cageless.

Yeah, I am just going to build one out some some heavy sheet aluminum - for structure and sexiness. It's going to be two pieces for easy of assembly and service.

The factory jute padding behind the seat will quiet the road noise immensely. You will be amazed.

Edit, just noticed you’re in Charlotte, I just got home from moving my son off from I40 about 40 minutes from the coast. 21hours if driving in 36 hours - phew.

I used the Tinman brace which I welded in. Its styled after the GNX brace.

We moved up here is Jan. NGL I miss Florida. I love it up here but I kinda miss the family and the food. I know it hasn’t even been a year but relocating a family with 4 kids has been a little rough.

As for the jute I looked it up it’s really cheap on Dixie so I’m gonna order the doors and seat bottom long wit the seat back and the rubber isolator as well
