I had a similar issue on the right rear on my 85 Cutlass. On mine it was a wiring harness at the base of the steering column had come loose. It looked like it was fastened but you could see that one side wasn't quite in all the way. Not sure that is what your issue is but i know that's where mine was. Been almost 8-10 years since i've done that but I believe you have to take a dash panel off located at the bottom of the steering column to see it.

Wait a minute would leds in the side marker lights do this? I put some in about a year ago but havent really driven it enough to notice the issue until a few months ago. The car has 364 miles on it in the last 2 years :shock:
