Just recently bought a set of umi adjustable control arms for a 12 bolt swap in my 86 cutlass. I couldn't be happier. The build quality of the product is excellent, and it really made a difference in the way my car performs when launching and it eliminated all my driveline vibration. I just thought I'd take time to write about my great expierence with an American made product. Just can't wait to be able to buy there adjustable rear sway bar.

great products and great guys to deal with....what years was the 12 bolt?. The reason I'm asking is I have a 67 rear end which is narrower than the 68 rear end. I have issues with the lower control arms as the bracket on the axle tube is more towards the center of the rear end than the G body rear and the 1968 and up 12 bolt. If you have the same problem I had UMI made me a custom lower control arm with a Roto Joint so it would pick up on the angle of the misalignment. UMI did that for me at just the cost of the Roto Joint...like I said great guys.. 🙂

They are solid people to deal with for sure. I did the 12 bolt swap 6 years ago and bought the kit from umi. Very satisfied.

I'm running everything they have to offer for us G body guys on the cutlass cant wait to get the drive train in so I can go drive it like I stole it!!!! 😀

Mine is out of a 70 but I modified it. I cut off all but about 4" of the 12 bolt tubes then cut my factory 10 bolt tubes off, machined the tubes down then pressed the 10 bolt tubes into the 12 bolt tubes. So I retained all my stock mounting points except the upper control mounts of course. It's still great that they work with there costumers like they do. The fact they do it all in house gives them the ability to creat whatever they want. They have a loyal costumer with me now
