Got the uppers and murphy was involved. One had the bracket welded incorrectly so I got around the by drilling a1/2" hole to install the uppers on the 8.2. The car works alot better that with stock uppers, the back end use to snap on me heading around a corner but with new uppers the rear end doesn't bind and it's much more consistent rotating around a corner..I can't wait to get it on the oval to see what it does...and talking about that oval it's race nite so I got get my butt in gear...

as far as the part that was made incorrectly I sent off a picture to Ryan at UMI and a new part will be shipped out at no cost to me... 🙂

here's a picture of what they look like and even with the extra hole they look nice...and with the material they are made with they'll never break and probably outlast the car..

anyone can make a mistake, I know I've made many and probably even you have made one or two. I wasn't showing the pic to show the error, I was showing it so people can have a look at what the UMI control arm when it's installed. I also said that UMI is sending a replacement and alot of shops might have said since I altered it the warranty is void...

silly fab guy, looks like it was done upside down :blam:

Yes very silly mistake on our end :soapbox:

The weird part is... this item got through the welder (who welded it incorrect), the sandblaster, the powder coater and the assembler. I guess everyone was sleeping that day. lol

We will get that new out Steve. Thanks again,
Ryan

Nice to see a company that actually admits their mistake and does something about it. That's getting pretty rare these days.
