I received my UMI lower control arms today. They are custom made with the Roto Joint instead of the spherical joint they come with. I chose the Roto Joint since that;s the joint I have in my convesrion uppers and I like the way they are designed to give you the feel of a poly bushing. For the modification UMI basically charged the difference in price between the two joints so the modification they has to do to the arm was not charged for. I got them thru a retailer in Toronto who was great with and it's nice that he can give me a price that includes coming over the border for not much more than the price if I bought it directly from UMI. I pasted the link to the retailer and his name is Nick...The more we use him the better deals he can get at UMI so we can get better prices. These lowers look awesome and the Joint will get rid of some binding and it will pick up the angle for the brackets on my 67 rear end.

I have similar ones from them as well. I haven't put them in yet though. I'll be looking forward to your results with them.

I have poly bushings in my lower control arms now and they make no noise so these should not be any different

I installed them tonite and there is a noticeable difference with the rear being more responsive and that comes from the stock lowers being installed under stress and in a constant bind. You should notice the rear end moving alot easier and it certainly feels more stable. If you havn't got them yet I'd suggest the uppers with a Roto Joint which will negate the uppers from binding and make it more solid. The stock uppers designed to twist when binding.

Good to hear! I did get some uppers as well. Adjustable ones with the roto-joints.
