Alright this crap is starting to get childish you guys are finding pics several years old just to talk crap about. Yeah that car is ugle but so is alot of the rusted projects on here. Now there are some nice cars on big rims and there are some nice cars with smaller rims. This is another elky on the same size rims http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3852185/1 ... -el-camino Most people have agreed theme cars aren't the way to go. Sorry just venting but it seems like this so called "hating" never gets old. If you dont like that car dont post it on this website unless its in a fail fest of some sort.

Now you see what I have to put with on here. If everybody like the same thing the world would be very boring. I love 15" raised white letter tires, but I get tired of seeing them on every old school, so-called "muscle car". That's so boring. These guys loving digging up pictures of cars on big rims w/the big, truck ballon tires before skinny tires were made so that the huge lifts wouldn't be necessary. Guys had no choice back in the day, and had to use two piece adapters because the 24"+ rims were made only for 6-lug trucks. Nowadays, guys with G-Bodies are tucking up to 26" wheels, have big blocks/supercharged small blocks/LS/LQ motors under the hood, the wettest candy paint, extravagant interiors, award winning sound systems, and the guys on here still nitpick on other things like, "He didn't get a big brake upgrade. That's a safety issue." I bet a ton of the guys on here with high horsepower/torque drivetrains don't have a big brake upgrade. Just like most the cars on here, ours cars on rims are never ending projects. Maybe the guy hasn't gotten around to getting a big brake upgrade kit yet, but he's saving up for it.

I'm not even gonna mention the stereotyping that goes on here. Making fun of the way we talk, we dress, just everything. Now if I were to do the same, I'd probably get banned or something. I have a question for all the people on here who hate big rims. Who do you think owns the 2010 Camaro from South Florida on 30s? I would say what color it is/was, but the owner changes the color like every 6 months. I need the answer in the format of a police description such as: white male, age 20-25. Again, the question is: Who do you think owns the 2010 Camaro from South Florida on 30s?

I don't understand something, what do you mean the "way we talk". English is a language with rules that we learn in school that I assume "we" all attended. If you're speaking English then those rules should be applied so everyone else who speaks English can understand. How is it that you think you can take the English language, basterdise it and then cry racism when someone jokes about it ...

Do you think that everything you do is right? So you never use any type of slang? I can do whatever I want with the English language, and other for that matter, as long as the person I'm addressing can comprehend what I'm saying. The racial stereotypes on this board are beginning to piss me off. I'm sensing some closet racism here. Everyone wants to avoid the issue, but I'm tired of it. We're all here for the love of g-bodies, and everyone has their own unique taste of customizing cars. Not many people say anything negative about a G-body set up for street/strip, pro-touring, or even lowriders. However, the minute a G-body on big rims or an old lifted one is posted, the racial stereotypes start flowing. That is getting old and tired.

racial stereotyping?....Most of us talk about cars and for myself unless there is a picture of the person I don't know what race they are and personally I don't care. If you guys take criticism of cars personally and thinks it's racist then that's your problem. Your passive aggressive posture won't work with me.

There's nothing passive aggressive about me pahtna. Im 100% aggressive on any form of rasict remarks point blank. Bruh...You have to walk in MY shoes or any persons shoes that has been thru it to fully understand. WE see it and know what it is no matter how disguised lil racist remarks and comments may be. Till it happens to you, you just will not understand...

Don't come in here trying to play dumb and innocent. You know exactly what racial stereotyping I'm referring to. Go back to page 1 of the thread and reread the posts of some of the members on here. I see a lot of racial stereotyping just in their posts. It's so ridiculously blatant, how can you miss it? Are you really that naive?

it's all about the car Qdub....if you take that criticism as a personal attack and an attack on your race then that is your own personal issue...

well like most I am only talking about cars but you can't seem to understand that. If you take remarks about your car or any car for that matter personally then that's your problem. A style of car is never exclusively owned by one race so opinions about any car is not racist.

Well you keep back-peddling and dancing around the real issue here. It's clear as day to those of us who are on the offending end of the comments. Any topic involving a car on big rims brings out the closet racists and racial stereotypes. The words usually used to describe our cars on this forum are: ghetto, pimp, drug dealer's, urban, and any other words that can be substituted for black or African-American. On this very forum, I've recently read posts making fun of how the uneducated African-American slaves spoke. Some members poke fun at how my peers and I talk amongst ourselves. Ray Charles could see the real issue that's going on here.
