Anybody familiar with these universal fan shrouds, and can answer how to install it to my radiator ?

The best fan shroud for this application would be a Chevy Gbody 2 piece shroud that also holds the radiator in place.
That universal one is not only not deep enough it will only pull air through the area within the radius versus the whole radiator, it would be more fitting on an old street rod with the vertical style radiator.
So just use the stock fan shroud ?

The stock shroud will work much better and hold the radiator in place at the same time.

Just swapped from a clutch fan...

I have a G-Body fan shroud, but it's not enough protection if a blade fly's off, it's plastic...steel isn't bullet proof, but it's a better option than plastic...
Was your clutch fan bad or are you thinking that you’ll gain horsepower? Or do you think the flex looks cooler?

Counterclockwise in the big picture, the actual blades will be on the right side facing the top and looking at the front because they "scoop" the air to the left or counterclockwise
Based on his picture that is a standard rotation flex fan on there,
I hope they have a good return policy for that.

I believe OP was advised on this earlier but he'd done his research.

You're right. He wants to lose a good portion of the little horsepower his 305 puts out by using a flex fan instead of a clutch fan.

I just did the exact opposite of what he did, went from flex to clutch, and I'm keeping the stock fan shroud. So we can have a little case study? We'll see!
