Here are the pics of my engine compartment. Just ripped out the 6 cyl. and put in a 327 chevy with 87 caprice cop car heads. Now Its a th350 with a shift kit the metric didnt hold up to the power of the 327. Going with a BW T-5 out of an IROC once I get all the parts together. The serpentine setup is out of a 4.3L blazer. Still testing and tuning to get it just right. I have since put Hurst Olds tailpipes on here because of the fumes in the cab area.

This was alot of fun and HIGHLY recomend this swap for anyone with a tired old six. ITs alot of work but was very rewarding when complete.

I ran the exhaust liek this becasue I didnt want any heat on the side of the car where the hydraulics for the clutch would be. That and I had to run camaro headers and the way the driver side dumped you are limited for options

Nice... I was wishing I could of ran across a few hundred $$$ and switched to the serpentine setup.. Your's looks really good...

The serpentine is cool. I assume their is electric fans hidden in the schroud.

How did you connect the A/C compressor from the serpentine setup to the rest of G body A/C system? Are there existing A/C hoses that can be used?

It isnt hooked up yet but it will be....you have to use hoses off of a v-8 which I am still trying to track down. They will fit. The problem I ran into is the v6 compressor is clocked differently than an 8 and the hoses would have to be higher than the hood to get them to work. So you have to change the drier and the hoses coming off of the compressor

that exhaust is nicely donr if you ask me, i dont care for those hangers bolted to the floor boards though. i have similar headers and exhaust but i do not have a x pipe yet. i "personally think" (dont want to start a argument with someone) that this is the best way to run the exhaust on a g body, there are many advantages to it.

The green on the engine is a nice touch. Green is one of those colors where the shade has to be just right or it's fugly. Your's is nicely done.
