The sbc is so known I wouldn't think you would fool to many into thinking you have an Olds, but maybe it was what you had available. The x on this exhaust system only serves as a balance tube. It is too far back to work as designed to pull opposite bank exhaust pulses out of the heads and keep exhaust velocity. Does haveing the exhaust bolted to the floor give you any harmonic resonance or buzz? The 5 speed will be cool.

also don't forget fellas the serp setup off a 4.3 V6 will work also ,seeing as how its a SBC withthe 2 rear cyl chopped off. everything on the front is the same.
