Re: Going to look at THIS Regal tomorrow.

i recently to the vinyl top off of my 84 cutlass because when i got it it was all cracked up but to my surprise there wasnt a bit of rust under it was the factory brown almost chocolate brown, the vinyl was crack but the glue under it was not and i guess it kinda seal the paint an metal from moisture plus with all the crack in the vinyl moisture never sat under it. good luck on the car

Re: Going to look at THIS Regal tomorrow.

So did you pick the car up yesterday?

Re: Going to look at THIS Regal tomorrow.

I didn't. I decided it wasn't what I was looking for. It's only $400, but its a ways off, he would have to pull the motor etc.

Re: Going to look at THIS Regal tomorrow.

Dang.. I hope the car doesn't go to waste. I would have loved to save it

Well boys, I changed my mind yet again and decide to go look at it. Body is super straight, could not find any rust. Looked in all the spots and nothing. Floor pans good. It's a great start. Oh, and I was worried about the vinyl top....someone has already taken the top of it off and there is no rust there!

Anyways, the guy was super nice and said he needed it gone asap. So, for $350 I bought it! I cannot wait to get to work and map out a plan on what will be a long term project. $350!!! No motor/trans, interior is disgusting, but the body and frame look excellent. Can't wait! I'll get pictures up some and I'll probably have a 1000s questions for y'all. Been a long time since I've taken apart and redone a car.

Wow thats an awesome deal! Get a solid motor and trans in it and go! The interior is optional
