Cool! Man Oh man I love a Big inch BOP engine! I have a 455 Pontiac that I was toying around with building but I need way to many parts to finish it and I have all of the small Chevy stuff. Anyway how was it getting in? Looks like lot's of room, what are you using for motor Mount's?What are you running for a trany? Turbo 400? And the last question is what are you using for a rear end? This is this big one because if you put that kind of torque that the Buick is making behind that wimpy Factory trans and rear end it will shatter just like glass the very first time you get it to hook!
Heck I'm going with a pretty nasty small block with a nice 4spd Auto build just for this power and my last and biggest worry is the peg leg rear that came with it! I know I'm big trouble there! Great Job! Now that's Hot rodding at it's best! Love it

I snagged a 28 spline posi unit from a camaro , threw in a set of 3.42's and a set of moser grand national axles and wahlah no rear end problems yet, hooks everytime. transmission is a 400 w 9.5" 3500 stall. Frame mounts were made and motor was set in a few times before making them permanent. Love the stump pulling torque in this monster lol. And is still drivable on the street as long as you know how to work the stall. Its well worth it .

Hmm not to Jinx you Bro but if you are even thinking about using a drag radial or a slick it is only a matter of time! That bomb is ticking for sure!! Hey on the other hand I bet that combo will hold up on my engine (small block Chevy) with no issues... Hey is there anything special that you needed to do when you did that swap?

Yeah thats why i added the yet in there lol. Not trying slicks for a few more weeks yet . And as far as the swap are you meaning the buick bb in a g body or the rear end? Jimmy
