Updated BBB 455 progress

I'm talking about the posi set up. I have a stocker peg leg and it has to go for sure! I want to see if I can go with a Camaro or a firebird of the same vintage swap it in and then get a set of Moser axles and a T/a pinion support. I figure it should be ok for the street and take a bit of abuse? The track is another story altogether. Is this basic combo what you are running? Any tricks to setting it Up?

no tricks really the 7 5/8 carriers fit right in the 7.5 housings along with the gn 28 spline axles . Also use the same pinion shims and you maybe be fortunate enough and not have to buy a shim kit . I have the new bearing and seal numbers if ya need which are the same as the 7.5 also. One thing you do have to do is the buttons on the ends of the gn axles need to be grinded about .002 with a simple hand grinder which is common for this swap with moser axles. Your stock 7.5 buttons are thinner than the gn axles are.

BBB??? I'm jealous! I have a BBO, and I was doing some looking. I came across this kit:
