V8 Chevette Daily Driver

Some of you may remember the S10 Blazer I got last year as my new dd. Well 14mpg is getting kinda old, so I have a new dd in the works. Hope to have it running in the next few weeks. It's not exactly what I had planned but things can always be changed. Hope you guys enjoy, I know some of you will. And if you know of any good sites or forums that may help(or parts), please let me know. Anyways here's a couple pics to get us started.

yea im running a 4.3 2wd s10 as my daily right now. i actually do ok, about 20 mpg on the highway. but now that fuel is going up itll be time to look around for something more efficient again. maybe with better handling too....

I was getting around 16 but it's not quite running right and i've been pulling my hair out trying to get it better. Either way 14 isn't horrible for having the 33's on it and it being a 92 with the shittier Vortec motor. Plus the "Vette" should be more fun to drive.

I don't know why, but I have always wanted a Chevette, , nice.

looks like a SBC chrome timing cover behind the grill there.......

We did the 3.8 swap back in highschool to a Chevette, it was hard on the rear axle and front suspension but lotsa fun to drive when it wasn't broken !

We've had quiet a few of them through my family but this the first one for me. Always kinda liked them.

It certainly is, lol. I'm pretty worried about the rear but I figure i'll cross that road when i break it.

That car looks like its gonna be fun. I have always wanted to find a good two door chevette.
