Does anyone have any recent part numbers for this switch? The only one I can find is the AC Delco listed through summit and its not available for a month and a half. I tried entering numbers found in this post, and nothing came up matching the switch.

It appears they're dropping them from production from whoever makes them. That's how it appears. Meaning secondary market which usually means higher prices. There's no "new" GM or NAPA part numbers.

That switch is used on many GM products in the 80's. I have picked up a few good ones from a scrap yard for a few $

I tried the hardware trick on mine. It allowed the control panel to work, but it wouldn't 'work'. Each time I slid the control lever back & forth, it would hang up in the screw. I tried the screw both ways but couldn't find a suitable orientation. I just got one of the AC Delcos from Amazon.

I changed the small valve that I could hear leaking. I can't hear any more leaks but still only have the floor and defrost working, squat out of the vents, hopefully fixes it. I got one of the new bulk ones on Ebay, much cheaper than the $100 Canadian the AC Delco replacement is now.
