Valve Stem Seals Question

It says postive type seals, and those are the ones I have. Could I just throw a set of umbrella type seals on? Would those suffice?

Yeah, I think I'm just gonna toss some umbrella type seals on. I had an old set lying around and I test fit them and they seemed good. Might just order me up a set with some of my Summit Bucks I have. 😛

These are STOCK 350 Buick heads. From 1976, with a standard 3 angle valve job and new guides. Also two new exhaust valves. Now that I think about it, that could be the reason behind the wonky fit of the positive type seals.

Pics of the seals. Umbrella seals vs the new ones I got with the FelPro gasket kit for my engine.
