Also, does anyone know the name of that color? 1981 Pontiac Grand Prix, factory paint. Never could find out exactly what it was.

Dad's old 1981 Grand Prix. Bought it for 1474$ in 1994, got the wheels for 50$ and am amplifier (Yes, I'm serious. One of the first runs of Centerline Scorpions when they came out, had to use wheel spacers on back due to only one offset available). Was a diesel car, swapped to a '76 olds 350 out of a vista cruiser with a trashed, and thrashed 200metric and either a very poopy LSD rear, or an open diff. I have the Q-jet on my SBB 350 now, and dad still has the engine at his fathers. Picture circa summer 1994. Sorry for rambling, I just want the history of this car out there. It being on of the reasons as to why I'm so into G Bodies and cars in general; having an 85 regal myself I picked up for 1400$.

Awesome story; that's another reason why I made this thread. Not suprised you yanked the diesel out of it 😀

I was...didn't check them out other than driving by them while they were on dealer lots, though!

I keep checking this thread cause someone stole the convertible top to my MGB in New York City in the summer of 1982 and I'm hoping to get a picture of the guy who stole it..
