If I remove the vinyl top off my cutlass without putting on the rear window trim and non vinyl top quarter windows will water leak into my car or will it make it rust out? I planned on leaving the vinyl top trim on for now but I just wanted to rip off the top and clean all the adhesive off cuz Im tired of seeing that ripped vinyl top

Why don't you get it reupholstered? I had mine done at a glass shop for around 4 bills. Plus, it was a deciding factor in the purchase (two things were a MUST have: t-top and vinyl top). Something about the vinyl top that makes it better than the rest, adds a touch of elegance, especially when it's done in black and you've given it a coat of Armorall.

the trim is just trim but for the rear quarter windows the vinyl is used as the seal around the window. There is sealant on the window itself so it shouldn't leak but there will be a gap where the vinyl used to be. There is seal that non vinyl roofs use that you'll need to find. I've removed my vinyl on my GP and I have 2 more sets of none vinyl top window seals if anyone is looking for them
