I remember a guy on here that had a really nice maroon late 80's Cutlass, he put a bunch of money into it even had some nice burgundy Pro Car buckets and then he decided to remove the half vinyl and the pictures he posted shocked me at how bad it was with the rest of the car being rust free.
Initially I think he was going to attempt to fix it but in the end I think he just parted it out, so sad.

It didn't stop me from buying my car. Maybe it should have. I'd rather it was a hard top but the paint on it is good so the top is staying. I don't worry about rust much since the car hasn't been wet since late 2014 and I plan to keep it dry.
