Kent (GrandAm man),
I'm curious if there ever was a Grand Am wagon ever made? Grand Lemans, I know. I figured If anyone would know, it would be you. If not, It would be nice to build one.

A single Grand Am wagon was produced by Pontiac for 1973. Part of a feasability experiment, it is now in the hands of a Michigan collector. So no, there weren't any produced. Pontiac's are my expertise also.

Nope, no Grand Am wagons. I do know someone with a Lemans wagon, who "had" an 81 Lemans header panel. He gave the header panel away....I would like to do a Grand Am wagon myself someday..

Sherry, I have completed my recent move. I will be back for parts before they get snowed in for the winter. That means before October. BTW, I would go with 15" Ralley II's with charcoal backing, and get rid of those 80 grills

84GP455, LOL! I don't like whitewalls either! I wanted to have them mounted backwards b/c I thought blackwalls were better than whitewalls (patiently waiting on raised whites, yes), but my husband thought it'd look stupid so we'll leave it as is for now.

Longroof79, yep, interior pics coming soon! Just haven't had any time to go out there. Isn't that sad?

GrandAmMan, I gotcha. Good suggestions.

84GP, GrandAm man,
Thanks for your input, guys. I know GM had produced experimental or test sled vehicles over the years. I thought perhaps a '78-'81 GA wagon could have slipped into the line up. Much like a Hurst/Olds wagon, or something in that order.
The '73 Grand Am wagon must be a cool looking vehicle...plus being a one off. Did it also have the shaker hood like the coupe?

Sherry, Thanks for posting the pics of your car. Very nice indeed. Looking forward to interior pics.

I like those snowflakes myself, they look great. And yeah, even back-walls look better than cheesy whitewalls. I just put snowflakes on my wagon and I'm always torn between those and RallyII's. GrandAm wagon, eh? I guess all it would need is a nose job. Neat idea.

Mark,
I always thought about how cool a Grand Am wagon would be. To do it up as a completely stock appearing Grand Am, emblems and all. Half the battle is acquiring the complete nose clip. I already have a Pontiac GP dash that will eventually go in.

I think the Rally II's would look sharp on the Grand Am..and so do the snowflakes for that matter.

Blake's buddy was selling a nice set recently. Two 15 x 7's and two 15 x 8's. They would also look cool on a "phantom" Grand Am wagon...

Guys, here are a couple of interior shots for ya'. Lemme know if you'd like to see particular things/angles.

Throwing this out there, what do y'all think of Cragar SSs and Keystone Klassics? We have a set of each for my husband's Torinos & set them up against my car to see what we thought. I wanna get your feedback before I tell you what I favor & upload a pic.

I think it is better to go ahead & post the pics of the different wheels now so that you can see what I saw. (The jack was strategically placed to add visual "lift" that it will be getting (it has air shocks).)

My fave is the Cragars, BTW.

Sweet car and interior shots! You gotta love the Pontiac interiors they are superior to the rest of the gbody's, It's really a cryin shame that Pontiac is no longer. They really did make classier cars. Oh,,, my vote is for the Cragar S/S's!
