Water leak in a 1981Malibu..

That won't fix the problem if the leak is the gasket between the a/c case and the firewall.
 
Heres a update. After reading and listening to the info given by every here in the forum, I decided to remove the blower from the AC box just for hell of it. What i found was a inch of sediment at the bottom of the blower covering the flap which didn't move at all. I scraped and hosed out the dirt... It was very dirty with dirt and leaves. I also hosed the evaporator to see if the drain hole was clear and it was.

In your opinion would this cause the leak inside?

This could have very well caused your leak. If the water can't drain out due to a clogged drain, it will overflow into the car.
I guess we all should have thought of that first. 😳
 
Thank to all who pitched in helping me, I will be looking out if this did really work.
