Water leaking passenger rug?

Dodge Dakotas where known for having AC condensation run back in that way. I believe your looking at a window/A-pillar leak or a heater core leak on Gbodys. First thing I would do is check the "seals" around the tubs entering the though the fire wall on the passenger side.

Second if you have TTops, check down the A-pillar and B-pillars, it might be running down near the door latch, might have to pull up some carpet to check.

Thanks, I tried googling this for g bodies but saw the problem in 90's Regals, I think it's the heater core from what I've read, thanks again

Also no t-tops, I was think it could have been from the windshield, some of my parents cars had problems like that, when it would rain water would leak right there, gonna have to look into this

Also the water was just on the floor, I felt around and just seemed to be just on the floor only, felt from under the glove box and the sides and didn't feel anything wet spots, so maybe a windshield leak is a possibility?

my 86 regals heatercore was leaving a small amount of water on the passenger floormat..seemed to come down on a specific spot..does your car fog up with the heater or def on?

Well I found out when I had my engine out and I was installing an A/C delete panel and a couple other things. So I don't know how to actually do it with the engine and inner fender in. But the drain on the passenger side down need the inner fender well. You might be able to use a shop vac through the cowl with the screen removed.

could also be the seal between the heater-a/c box... mine was leaking pretty bad there... g's also had a bad time with the winshields leaking around the base of the a pillar...
