My point exactly, I leave for 24 hrs to come back to nothing to offer towards the topic of discussion...just turns into a classroom full of "teachers" degrading the student asking "stupid questions"...

Now watch the toxicity continue as the class clowns respond to my comments I made this morning, taking forever to get through to the answers I need...🙄🤦🏾‍♂...

Sometimes I think to myself, why even bother looking for help here ?

But then I remember the ones who are actually helpful and aren't in the group of clowns trolling me and engaging in the disrespect...

Any who...the new water pump was returned, and I'm using the old water pump which has this hole plugged up and I do not need to know it's size.

pagrunt ..."basement", not "baement"...

End of discussion... 😎
Just to make sure you understand, that was directed to joesregalproject just to do some friendly ball busting that we do with each other here as we have a very good brotherhood (& sisterhood) of members here do what they can to help each other even if they don't agree on everything. Thick skin goes far here & in life.

Now from observing this thread, the timing chain, flex fan & your electrical threads you are jumping around too much on too many projects at once instead of getting what is needed to get the car together & able to be use safely to do the most important thing in your life, make sure that newborn child is being put ahead of anything else. If parts are not broken/non functioning/worn out they are not needed. The timing chain & related parts to do the replacement, yes. A new water pump & flex fan to replace what you have just because or even passing along there are issues with them, no. Then on top of what members here are telling you, you're also using other sites to ask the same questions trying to find what hear/read. Even as guys try to help guild you into the right direction you have put up a wall against it as shown when it came to the year/model to use to order a water pump. Just because it's part of you car doesn't mean it's original. I got a '81Monte with a '70 engine, a '75 transmission, '79 rear axle. The engine alone uses parts covering THREE decades of car listings in the parts catalog. My transmission set up (4 speed manual) never exsisted as option for my car just like the serpentine set up on your's. You have to do your due diligence to figure out what you have compaired to what was on your car. The newest car of our generation in 34 years old so odds of it being nearly all original is out the window.

So, as members here pass their knowlage & experience on to you work with it. There really not that many sites out there like this one & many that would really treat you worst than what happens here or even in your threads. What you're calling disrespect is matched with your own disrespect to those helping you. Now if you'd take a step or two back & reread the threads to look for the techinal details you are looking for, ignoring the "disrespect" you might get to where you need to be on the car. Again, thick skin goes far. Take what I post here as disrespect, an attack on your person, a hit to your feelings or a lesson learned. I have nothing to gain or loose with this.

FYI, people do miss keys at tmes while typing. Not like this is a important document or such.
