We were poor back in the 50's/60's. But before I could even drive we used to bolt side shaft lawn mower engines to bicycles. I used a VW Bug crankshaft pulley at the rear wheel to get a better top speed. My 3.5hp chomper was as fast as the local hot shot with his Rupp 5hp mini bike. I made the drive belt very tight so that I didn't lose rpm's to the centrifugal clutch. That way it also was a push-start. The chrome exhaust is an Electro-Lux vacuum cleaner suction tube. I'm thinking 1967 or so. Fun times!

I don't have pics of every car that I've ever owned, but I've got a few. I only became a licensed driver in 2002 at 16.

My very 1st car, 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, given to me by my dad; took this pic the week before it was stolen in 2005.

Got a '93 Nissan Pathfinder from my mom for my 16th birthday in 2002, and got a '93 Nissan Maxima from my grandma for graduating HS in 2004. (No pics)

After my first Cutlass was stolen in November 2005, I set out to replace it. In February 2006, I got a 2 for 1 deal ($250 for both) on eBay from a guy in Palatka, FL. I picked an '83 & '85 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Those were the 1st cars that I ever bought with my own money. (Sold the '85 as a roller in 2013)

In 2007, after getting a full time job at AFLAC WWHQ, I decided to treat myself and for my 21st birthday I bought myself a '94 Chevrolet Impala SS. (Sold in 2010)

A few months later, after hearing so much about the 9C1s w/LT1s I had to have one, so I bought a '96 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1.

2007 is where LIFE began for me. I moved out of my mom's house and got married to my high school sweetheart. In 2008, I dropped out of college and quit my great job at AFLAC to join the US Army. In 2009, I spent nearly the entire year in training for the Army, my wife and I conceived out first child, and my little brother died 2 weeks before Christmas. To be continued.....

In 2010, as my wife and I were expecting our first child, I decided that I needed something a bit more spacious and reliable than all of my old cars. Shortly after my little brother's funeral, I made the impulsive decision to buy an '03 Chevrolet Avalanche.

In 2011 I got sent on my 1st deployment and talked one of fellow soldiers into selling me his '87 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS shortly before we left. (traded away in 2012)

In 2012, I got bored with the MCSS, and discovered I don't like T-tops, and traded it away for a 1990 Chevrolet Caprice Classic.

In 2013 I deployed for the 2nd time and was gone a little longer, so when I came back in 2014 I treated myself to another newer car, my 2012 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS.

In 2015, I separated from the US Army with my Honorable Discharge and was soon thereafter offered a position as a DOD contractor doing the exact same job that I had done in the Army.

To be continued.......

In 2016, just over 10 years after my 1st car was stolen, my dad gave me another vehicle/truck, my '98 Chevrolet Silverado

In 2016, to help a relative out, I also bought his '96 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 for myself.

In February of 2017 my wife finally decided it was time for her to get something new. After much hassle and many international phone calls, I was able to get her a brand new 2017 Dodge Charger Scat Pack. I had been looking at a one for myself, but her 2008 Tahoe started giving her too many problems, so we decided that she needed a new car.

For my 31st birthday in April 2017, I decided that it was time for me to get a gas saver. Of course nothing I own has less than a V8 so I found a '95 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for a great price with a T56 trans.

I don't take many pics with my own cars (I try to keep a low profile), but here are a few:

I forgot about the '82 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista. My dad bought it in 2010 (when I didn't even like Elcos), and everybody assumed that it was just another one of mine. Somehow over the last 7 years, the Elco grew on me (mostly because it's the 1st old car that I'd had with functional a/c) and I accepted it as one of my own.
