Wow that's just awesomeWe were poor back in the 50's/60's. But before I could even drive we used to bolt side shaft lawn mower engines to bicycles. I used a VW Bug crankshaft pulley at the rear wheel to get a better top speed. My 3.5hp chomper was as fast as the local hot shot with his Rupp 5hp mini bike. I made the drive belt very tight so that I didn't lose rpm's to the centrifugal clutch. That way it also was a push-start. The chrome exhaust is an Electro-Lux vacuum cleaner suction tube. I'm thinking 1967 or so. Fun times!
Lol wow it's almost the same truck as one of mine"Race The Tow Rig " @ the U.S. Diesel Nationals

Thank you for your services sirI forgot about the '82 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista. My dad bought it in 2010 (when I didn't even like Elcos), and everybody assumed that it was just another one of mine. Somehow over the last 7 years, the Elco grew on me (mostly because it's the 1st old car that I'd had with functional a/c) and I accepted it as one of my own.
